The peak of temperatures returned to Spain, and the heat settled again with extreme waves.
A month ago, the Minister of Labor, Yolanda Díaz, announced a new package that would affect outdoor workers.
The new regulations include prohibiting and limiting some tasks in full sun exposure, reducing or redistributing workers' working hours, and, finally, the obligation for certain companies to adopt specific reinforced measures such as clothing guidelines to avoid the dreaded heat stroke.
This regulation affects various sectors, except digital food delivery platforms. Most non-contracted workers need access to fundamental elements such as water and bathrooms.
