Uber is preparing to disembark in Santa Fe with motorcycles and plans to conquer Rosario, where it’s still illegal.
In Rosario, more and more citizens use the Uber application, demanding the transfer service with private vehicles that are not registered or regulated.
In March, the Council once again took its regulation on the agenda along with other mobile applications for transport. However, the discussion did not advance, and everything came to nothing again.
The option more likely to be chosen is that of the Executive, allowing taxis and remises to use apps. In that case, Uber would not enter, but Cabify would. Meanwhile, the municipality returned to control the street after protests from taxi drivers. Between June and July, Transport Inspection took 18 illegal cars, 16 from Uber and two from Cabify, and sanctioned the owners of the vehicles with high fines.
