WORKERS

Sindicato Libre de Transporte (SLT) union accused Vecttor of breaching the collective agreement. Non-payment for night work and overtime and inadequate time recording are among the problems.

Delivery workers were urged to strike on Cyber Monday, the day of discounts, to demand better pay.

Regulation

The Labour Inspectorate is monitoring home delivery companies Glovo and Uber Eats after discovering that their delivery drivers were hiring foreigners without permission to make deliveries on their behalf, in exchange for a percentage of what they earn.
