After months of negotiations, Rappi and the local union in Medellín (Unión Sindical de Mensajeros de las Tiendas Turbo, USMTT) reached an agreement that will benefit some 700 riders by providing them with safe parking and sanitary facilities during working hours.
However, a number of points still need to be confirmed, so a meeting is planned for April to reach agreement on a new basic rate for 'rappitenderos'.
