iFood delivery workers plan to protest at the end of March that there has been no increase in the minimum delivery fee for the past three years, despite significant increases in operating costs due to inflation.
They point out that costs such as fuel, motorcycle maintenance and equipment have risen significantly, eroding their earnings.
For example, petrol prices are set to rise by 68.6% between 2021 and 2025, and the cost of motorcycle maintenance has also escalated. Previous small adjustments made by iFood, such as a 50 cent increase, are not considered sufficient to offset these rising costs.
