CADE (Administrative Council for Economic Defence) has ruled that Uber must provide data on its operations and drivers banned from 2020. The measure is part of a complaint filed by Rio startup GigU (formerly StopClub) against the mobility platform for abuse of economic power. As part of the process, CADE requested data on Uber's operations in Brazil. The order asks for information such as the number of active drivers, the company's billing, and details of driver bans (such as the number and reason) since 2020. Uber can appeal.
