Since December 2023, PAM Couriers Finland has been in negotiations with Wolt to improve working conditions for food couriers. Talks have focused heavily on the compensation model and fee levels since the spring, yet PAM and Wolt continue to hold significantly different views on what constitutes fair compensation for couriers.
Two years ago, Wolt made unilateral changes to its compensation model, leading to a notable drop in earnings for its couriers.
By April 2023, food couriers had formed the national PAM Couriers Finland union branch, officially joining PAM. Since December 2023, PAM and Wolt have been engaged in ongoing negotiations to improve working conditions, meeting in various formats over dozens of sessions to reach common ground.
