The European Parliament and the Council have reached a new agreement on the Platform Work Directive.
The agreement does away with the presumption of employment indicators altogether. The text requires that an “effective legal presumption” be created in all member states.
The draft also prohibits platforms from dismissing workers on the basis of automated decisions.
