Mexico's Chamber of Deputies has approved an initiative by President Claudia Sheinbaum to grant greater benefits to drivers and couriers working for digital applications in the country. The deputies agreed that in addition to the 6-month pilot test, the registration of delivery drivers and drivers with the Mexican Social Security Institute will be reviewed during the same period to ensure that the Tax Administration Service does not charge them any more taxes.
