Former Uber Eats drivers are suing the company after being abruptly disconnected from the platform without warning or explanation. The 16 plaintiffs claim they were barred from delivering due to alleged violations of the platform’s general terms, though no specifics were provided.
The action is backed by the ACV/CSC union, the Egaliberté foundation, the CIEP-B, and the Human Rights League.
In late November, Uber Eats stated that disconnections are "always subject to rigorous human review." However, drivers argue that it’s impossible to query these decisions or communicate with the company.
