Fairwork India Ratings 2023 report is out and no platform managed to score on the principle of fair representation.
Only three of them (bigbasket, Urban Company, and Flipkart) proved to enforce minimum wage policies.
Total scores reveal some interesting changes.
Urban Company went down from a total of 7 points to 5 points (in 2020, it scored 8), and Flipkart from 5 to 3 (in 2020 and 2021, it scored 7). Urban Company was affected by workers' protests this summer against IDs blocked without notice.
Swiggy gained 5 points, moving up from 1 point scored in 2020, and the same did Zomato.
Zepto doubled last year's result, gaining 4 points, while Porter can't pick itself up: it is stuck at 0 points, as well as Ola.
Uber, Dunzo, PharmEasy, and Amazon Flex do not exceed 3 points.
