After four years of processing, the Danish tax authority has decided that Wolt's local food couriers are employees in the eyes of the taxman.
Taxes are not the worker's sole responsibility: Wolt must think its account into this.
Therefore, Wolt has to take care of, for example, withholding taxes and labor market contributions related to salary payments.
Wolt said it would appeal.
