Bolt drivers are increasingly going offline to negotiate rides with customers.
The trend comes after a five-day strike through which the drivers demanded an increase in fares on e-hailing platforms. None of their requests had been met.
To earn more, they merely use apps for hailing before reaching offline agreements with passengers.
Bolt warned to desist from using its platform offline because it turns off GPS tracking, putting drivers and passengers in serious danger.
