February 2023 - United States - Georgia Senate bill aims to regulate DoorDash, Uber Eats, others

Senate Bill 34, presented to the Georgia General Assembly, would prohibit food companies such as Doordash or Uber Eats from advertising non-existent connections with restaurants, and put an end to unsanitary practices.

The legislation would require vehicles used for third-party food delivery to be clean. No smoking or vaping would be allowed inside delivery vehicles, and pets would be prohibited unless they are service animals.
