The Buenos Aires Chamber of Deputies will discuss the bill to create a registry of platform delivery workers. The Chamber of Senators has already approved it, so there is a good chance it will become law.
If it became law, it would have a total impact on Rappi and PedidosYa: in total, they can count on 25,000 riders in Buenos Aires only.
Through the bill, the executive power should set the conditions and registration requirements; identify the authorized workers; control the conditions of service, and effective compliance with the rules, rights, and obligations that this activity entails; and determine the penalties that derive from non-compliance.
