WageIndicator is working with researchers at Fairwork and the Leeds Index to create a database of the gig economy.
Since October 2023, as part of the WageIndicator internship programme, 12 interns from FLAME University in Pune (India) have been working on the project, researching news and documentation on legislative initiatives, laws, court cases and trade union activities in the gig economy.
These visuals are the outcome of their work and contain examples of the data collected:
